Flush deck centre cockpit yacht with semi-enclosed wheelhouse, teak decks replaced 2006. Hull & superstructure in GRP to Lloyds specification, hull epoxy treated 2005. Encapsulated keel.

RIG & SAILS
Masthead cutter rig with Hood Stowaway mast, deck stepped with electric powered hydraulic in-mast mainsail furling.  Double spreaders, mast pulpits & shroud rollers. Rondal electric hydraulic headsail furling, inner forestay with Furlex 300s manual furling for cutter staysail and storm jib. Standing rigging replaced 2009. Telescopic booming out pole on mast track. Winches at mast: 2 x Lewmar 16ST; Lewmar 40ST & Lewmar 43ST.
Winches in cockpit: 2 x Lewmar 55ST primaries; 2 x Lewmar 46ST for mainsheet

ENGINE
Volvo Penta MD40A, 6 cylinder 105hp diesel engine, new starter motor & alternator (Oct'11).
35mm shaft drive to 3 blade fixed propeller with rope cutter. Cruising speed 7 knots.
Fisher Panda 4kva generator. Alternators 12v & 24v, to 4 x domestic batteries (2009), 1 engine start & 1 generator start.

ACCOMMODATION
Hallberg Rassy 49 standard layout with guest accommodation forward, master stateroom aft, and main saloon, galley and navigation station amidships. Interior joiner work is hand-rubbed African light mahogany, with cabin sole in teak and holly with overheads in white vinyl and mahogany trim. Headroom is 6'5" in the main saloon, and 6'4" in the aft cabin. Light & air throughout is provided via twelve opening ports, six overhead hatches and five dorade ventilators. All hatches have blinds and screens and all ports have aluminium storm shutters.

The well-appointed main saloon has the full width of the yacht where you can fully appreciate the large volume of the HR49. To Stbd is an L-shaped settee and to Port a bench settee. The solid mahogany centreline table has a central bottle stowage and two folding leaves easily seating eight. Both settees have shelf storage behind the backrests and the starboard settee has storage below the seat. Pilot berths above seating Port & Stbd, curtained off from saloon. Brass clock & clinometer.
